KATAKUNE IS A HIGH QUALITY CONTENT THAT TRAINS FOCUS!

Kids between ages 1-6 are extremely receptive and easily influenced by things around them. If they are over stimulated at a young age, they may develop attention deficiency problems which would affect their learning abilities well into their later years. Many TV programs and video games nowadays are concerned just with getting popular with kids, but what they do is over-stimulate the children’s minds.

We recognized this problem and that was why we produced Katakune with training the child’s focus in mind. We developed a style of animation and look that is unique and designed to help children stay focused and learn the good values Katakune shows impart.

Katakune characters are designed to be round and colorful as kids of this demography are attracted to roundish shapes and bright colors. This helps to keep the child attracted and focused on the animation.

The white and sparse background was designed to help the child stay focused on the story instead of being distracted by unnecessary blotches of colors.

The narration also helps to train the child’s focus as he would have to listen to it carefully to understand the stories. As the characters are designed to be mouthless, the child will have to observe the body language of the characters and give his full attention to the narration to keep up with the stories.

In order not to tire out the child and over-stimulate him, we have designed each episode to be just 2 minutes in length. This makes it easy for the child to absorb the morale of the story and learn from it. This also makes it easy for a parent to plan a child’s TV activities.

Great effort was taken to ensure that every Katakune show inculcates good values and imparts a certain knowledge or skill. Our stories are written in a way that nurture a child in the following areas:

At the end of every episode, Katakune or his friends would appear to recap the kids on what they have just learnt. Katakune endeavors to nurture a child during his most impressionable preschooling years so that he becomes a confident, sociable and considerate child when he goes to school.
