One of the best recipes for kids to start their day before going to school. This will surely be loved by kids.

Ingredients:
4 cups of cooked rice
1/2 cup cooked ham, cubed
1/2 cup green onions, chopped
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 clove of garlic, minced
Dash of Tabasco sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup fresh parsley, snipped
1/2 snap peas
1/2 cup carrots, chopped

Method:
In a wok, melt butter and sauté onions, carrots and parsley for about 2 minutes. Vegetables should be tender, but still be crunchy. Add the remaining ingredients and stir until well combined. Cook until the rice is hot.

Enjoy this delicious meal with the whole family!

I make something similar, but instead of ham and parsley I use scrambled eggs and spinach.

I make a big bowl of Spanish style yellow rice in the microwave (2 cups of uncooked parboiled rice, 5 cups of water, 2 packets of Sazon with annatto (achiote), combine and cook uncovered for 30 minutes on high power).

When that is finished cooking, while it is still hot, I stir in all the raw vegetable stuff, cover it and cook another 10 minutes.

While the vegetables are cooking, I make the scrambled eggs, chopping them up. When the vegetables are done, I stir in the eggs and serve with hot sauce. (for kids, you can use a milder tomato sauce or ketchup)
